Amber Ruffin is a funny writer and comedian you should know.

In 2013, Amber joined the writing staff of Late Night with Seth Meyers and became the first African American woman ever to write for a late-night talk show. Woohoo!

She quickly became one of the show’s all-star contributors, performing regularly in sketches and gleeful recurring segments like “Amber Says What!?

You may also have seen her on Comedy Central’s Detroiters – she played the lovable Officer Molly and wrote for the show, too.

She’s currently developing a sitcom called Village Gazette at NBC — we hope it gets picked up to series!
